AMKA NZURI MELODY WOMEN (ANMW) PUBLIC FACING RELAXED MUSIC ENSEMBLE CALL OUT - FRIDAY 29TH MAY 2026 A relaxed friendly audition & introduction session for Black disabled women aged 50+ inclusive of neurodivergence, chronic health conditions, caring roles and diverse access needs. No experience required. ANMW is exploring a small public-facing ensemble and public speaking team representing our beginner-friendly "learn to play a musical instrument" project. Selected participants will: • learn together free of charge • develop 2-3 ensemble songs • develop 1 solo song • take part in a 10-session Friday programme • explore future community music and festival opportunities Instruments include: • bass guitar • keyboards • acoustic-electric guitar • drums / sample drum pad percussion Weekly sessions will take place Fridays • 4pm - 5.30pm OLD DIORAMA ARTS CENTRE (ODAC) 201 Drummond Street, London NW1 3FE Wheelchair accessible venue with step-free access, lifts and accessible toilets. • Arrival from 3.15pm • Session Start 3.30pm - 5.30pm Register via Eventbrite or come along and register in person on the day at 3.15pm Enquiries to: Email: info.amkanzuri@gmail.com
