This exhibition is the culmination of Pink Stitch 2026, a participatory textile arts programme for people with lived experience of breast cancer, delivered by Cayr Charity in collaboration with textile artist Emily Jo Gibbs. Over several months, participants hand-stitched hundreds of rosettes, each carrying its own personal story and meaning. Pieces of our Journey brings together all the individual pieces as a giant community quilt, symbolising the strength and resilience behind each experience of breast cancer.
